Ms. Betsy was born in 1916 shortly after the new home was completed in 1913. Many items in the home are from family plantations throughout Mississippi and Louisiana and have been in place for over a hundred years. Many items from Mississippi State along with Starkville history will also be sold. Her father taught at Mississippi A&M for fifty two years which later became Mississippi State University. Open house will be Thursday and Friday, June 25-26 from 10:00-6:00 pm each day. Doors will open at 8:00 am on June 27, 2020; auction starts at 10:00 am CDT.
