PUBLIC HEARING The Golden Triangle Planning and Development District/Area Agency on Aging and the Misssippi Division of Aging and Adult Services will conduct a public hearing Tuesday,July 31, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at the Golden Triangle Planning and Development District, 106 Miley Drive, Starkvill, MS. The purpose of the hearing is to discuss plans to provide services to older adults during fiscal year 2019 and to obtain input from the general public regarding the needs of older adults in the area. The Golden Triangle Area Agency on Aging provides services to older adults in Choctaw, Clay, Lowndes, Noxubee, Oktibbeha, Webster and Winston Counties to assist them in maintaining their independence in their own homes. Services include congregate and home delivered meals, homemaker services, transportation, nursing home ombudsman, legal asslstance, insurance counseling, case management, and assistance to caregivers as well as other services.
