Sonny Montgomery Center for America's Veterans & the MSU Writing Center This year's theme is"Portraits of Service" Drawing from the National Portrait Gallery's 2017 exhibit, The Face of Battle," we ask veterans and service members to share their experiences in training and deployment as a way of reorienting our view of war from questions of strategy and tactics to its personal and individual toll." We also invite those who are family members of veterans and service members to share their experiences of service at home.
