NEW PHYSICIAN Joins OcHs Emily Brandon Landrum, MD, recently joined the medical staff at 0CH Regional Medical Center. Dr. Landrum completed ther bachelor of science degree in biology with a minor in chemistry at Millsaps College in Jackson in 2011, where she was a cum laude gradu ate. She earned her medical degree from the Universi- ty of Mississippi School of Medicine in Jackson in 2015 and recently completed her residency in family medicine at North Mississippi Medial Cet (NMMC) in Tupelo. During her undergraduate and medical training she was awarded several awards and scholarships, including the Mississippi Rural Physicians Scholarship Program. While at UMMC she was very active in the Family Medicine Inter- est Group, Mississippi Association of Family Physicians, Mississippi State Medical Association and a board mem- ber of the Jackson Free Clinic. She most recently served as chief resident at NMMC and was awarded the J. Edward Hill Art of Medicine award for her dedication to compas- sionate and patient-centered care E Lanteom.MD Family Medicine Board-certified in family medicine, Dr. Landrum is a member of the American Medical Association, American Academy of Family Physicians, Mississippi State Medi cal Association and Mississippi Academy of Family Phy- sicians. She will be practicing inpatient and outpatient family medicine, and her special interests include pre- ventative health, women's health and the management of diabetes.
