Melon Prince 1, LLC 45 Temporary workers needed in Greenwood, FL. From approximately 9/01/2018 10/31/2018. Workers must be 18 years or older. Workers will perform assigned duties as instructed by their super visor. Duties may vary from time to time. Perform man ual labor to hand cut and pack watermelons. Use hand tools such as shears and knives. Employer may conduct criminal background checks. Manually plant, cultivate, harvest, count, load and unload vegetables, horticultural specialties and field crops. (All tools, supplies and equip ment will be provided at no cost to the worker). Due to possible Date of Need changes, worker is required to purchase travel insurance if available. We will reimburse the worker for transportation cost (including travel insur ance) and subsistence to the employers work site from the place of recruitment upon completion of 50 percent of the contract period or earlier if appropriate. Transportation payment will be no less (and is not required to be more) than the most economical and reasonable common car rier transportation charges for the distances involved. A copy of the work contract or a copy of the ETA 790 in lieu of a work contract, and any modifications, wll be provided to the worker on or before the work commences or as soon as possible. If the employee is unable or unfit to perform the duties listed after the 14 day pretrial, the employee will receive warnings, hours may be reduced to the minimum allowed in the certified petition or ter minated. The highest of $11.29 per hour or applicable piece rates depending on crop activity. 3/4 guarantee, 35 hours per week, housing, equipment and transportation provided at no cost to workers who cannot reasonably return to their permanent residence at the end of each workday.
